- There are SPECIAL Special Enrollment Periods because of the end of the Public Health Emergency (PHE).
- Low-income SEP If your income is below 150% FPL, you do not need to qualify for any other Special Enrollment event to qualify for a SEP.
- If you lose Medicaid or CHIP, you have 60 days to enroll on the Marketplace (this is always an option). But you also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period with your employer. You have 60 days to request enrollment into your Employer Sponsored Insurance.
- There are other benefits related to the end of the PHE including: enhanced subsidies and tax credits, no lockout for past-due premiums, standardized plans available and no verification for being unenrolled or not having an offer of job insurance.
