Organization Description

Washtenaw Health Project is a unique non-profit organization operating within the Washtenaw County government system to help people access healthcare services. We work to expand access to health insurance through Medicaid and Marketplace enrollments, and our safety net healthcare program, the Washtenaw Health Plan (WHP), ensures that anyone who does not qualify for health insurance still has access to the health care they need.

Healthcare is complicated, and we believe that equal and equitable access to care is vital to the well-being of our community. We are a team of 15 Member Services Specialists and Community Health Workers with years of service ranging from 1 to 25 years. We listen carefully and hold people’s hands through the process of healthcare enrollment, and help them understand how to access their care. We have bilingual staff members who speak Spanish, French, and Arabic in addition to English so that our clients can feel comfortable discussing their unique situations in their native language.

Posicion Disponible: Especialista de Servicios Para Miembros de WHP. Solicite en línea antes del 20 de febrero.
